I had the pleasure to work with Diane Boucher when I needed a capable, intuitive researcher to investigate specific life-events in my family history. In other words, I needed someone with the historian’s skills but the genealogist’s instincts to find information in some local museums, churches, state and local repositories, and archives. Diane’s efforts on my behalf surpassed my expectations by every measure. She kept meticulous notes, investigated every possible lead, and adhered fastidiously to my limited budget. Equally important, Diane maintained frequent lines of communication, so that I was never “in the dark” about her “next steps” or plans to pursue new avenues of possible information. I would be remiss, however, if I failed to mention that Diane was simply a wonderful colleague on this project. I enthusiastically recommend Diane Boucher as a researcher, historian, and genealogist.
